More than 350 guests enjoyed a special celebration at the Hall of Mirrors as the Architectural Foundation of Cincinnati honored 3CDC with its Apple Award on June 5th.
On hand to congratulate 3CDC were 3CDC board leaders and those companies who are working to renovate and revitalize Over-the-Rhine and other areas of the city.
Tom Williams, in his introduction of 3CDC, noted “AFC’s focus is on the entire built environment, where we live, where we work. Our built environment is extremely important to our spirit and our quality of life. It reflects us and we become it. It becomes our home.”
Steve Leeper, 3CDC President and CEO, accepted the award on behalf of the organization, thanking those who make 3CDC possible, from former Mayor Charlie Luken to the corporate community to the board and staff of the organization.
Proceeds from the Apple Award help support AFC’s educational programming, including the in-school program, Architecture by Children.
